Anand Singh Lourembam is a seasoned architect with over 22 years of experience. He currently holds the position of Director of Architecture for India and Bangladesh at Surbana Jurong (SJ), where he leads business development, operations, project & resource management for the urban sector across India & Bangladesh. In Bangladesh, he played a pivotal role in building a multidisciplinary design team, spanning Architecture, Landscape, Structural, and MEP disciplines.

 

His passion for technology and design has been a driving force in shaping his team’s capabilities, fostering expertise in cutting-edge domains such as Augmented Reality, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and Parametric Design. This forward-thinking approach not only encourages innovation but also equips the team with the tools to deliver sophisticated, future-ready architectural solutions. Anand is known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic thinking, and dedication to mentoring young talent. His contributions continue to shape the built environment in the region and strengthen Surbana Jurong’s mission of building cities and shaping lives.

Anand is currently managing two entities of Surbana Jurong namely:

1.Surbana Jurong Infrastructure Pte. Ltd- Bangladesh Branch

2.Surbana Jurong Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd​​

  • Understanding of Urban Market in both India and Bangladesh.

  • Aligning company performance to market segment such as planning, residential township, Healthcare, hospitality, industry & project management.

  • Managing work acquisition (Win work) and country-level bid performance

  • Business Development and cross selling of SJ Group of companies.

  • Manage team resource and performance.

  • Provided leadership and demonstrating vision for a design studio/team for Building+Cities sector.
